Projects
Re-Format implements an environmental checklist as part of the briefing process for all projects. Once we have established the commissioning aspirations of our clients we are then best placed to advise on improvements from this baseline. We explain the environmental impact reductions that can be achieved through audit procedures such as the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM. On at least 50% of our projects we have facilitated an increase in the output brief by one code increment. Most typically this means increasing from CSH level 3 to 4 or 5, or increasing from BREEAM ‘good’ to ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.

Website
We share drawings, files and documents on a secure members area of this website, allowing all project team members access to individual projects thereby saving resources and costs.

Re-Format’s Studio
Within our own studio we have introduced a series of strategies in our Environmental Action Plan in order to reduce our environmental impact in terms of reducing travel and energy consumption, and improving our recycling and waste management. We are committed to improving our own environmental impact.
