This new sports hall was provided to enable the school to deliver the Council’s new Sports diploma course. It is built on the site of three existing tennis courts, the curved roof appropriately evoking the trajectories of tennis balls. The location of the building seeks to contain the end of a large open car park on the school frontage and this position reinforces it’s availability for use by the local community. A reception entrance 'pod’ anticipates the future addition of changing rooms.
